Meet Karri Russell, Esq
Karri graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BBA from Baker College in 2006 and Cum Laude with a JD from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2014. Born and raised in Muskegon, Karri is passionate about serving clients in her hometown and local communities through bold advocacy initiatives and strategies. She firmly believes that everyone who walks into MKG Legal has a story and a human experience beyond whatever legal advice they are seeking. Karri provides respect, compassion, and honest advice to each client. When not in the courtroom or office, Karri enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outdoors or on the yoga mat, and reading detective novels (the Cormoran Strike series is a particular favorite!).
Meet Jen Barnhard,
Legal Assistant
Jen graduated with an ASA in Interactive Media in 2018 as a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member. After joining the MKG Legal team in May 2022, she realized her true calling was in the legal field! Jen is proficient in all facets of legal administrative support and well-versed in the legal system. She loves applying her newly acquired knowledge and expertise to help others in need with compassion, tolerance, perseverance, openness, and understanding. In all aspects of her work, Jen highly emphasizes honesty and integrity, and she is committed to giving clients and their loved ones the best legal support possible.
